Here's the new proposed layout in wake of the changes to the map. I'll describe it and give you an image. You've seen the original plans - now here are the changes:

Come Into the Light (proper) goes from Mercury about 100' deep. This includes the "Light" chill space and the poetry garden behind us, as well as some car camping space. The "back" of the chill space has changed slightly, the house trailer may not be able to make it, so we'll switch places with it and the RV, and fill in the space with Todd's big van. The good thing is that this makes the Poetry Garden more visible from the front.

In the next 60 feet or so, the RV campers live. This includes Steve's RV, Cindy's RV and Kirk's. We're thinking that Cindy's Mist Gazebo can go between the RVs and the Poetry Garden... a destination that will get people to walk through the poetry garden. If Jose and Jared's trampoline comes to be this year, we can put it in the middle of the RVs and erect a parachute or shade structure over it (between the RVs, like WBL in '95). This should probably be discussed a bit more once we have the details.

From there to Venus will be Marcy's GeoDome. Marcy says:

We don't have a name for the GeoDome yet, although we are planning to light it with twin rotating disco balls (ala cloudfactory, who may end up nearby). There's a *chance* that Justin will pony up with a second GeoDome, which could go right next to the first one, possibly with a large (64') parachute to provide additional shade bordering Venus; still waiting to hear about that. Right now the GeoDome camp has about 8-10 people who will be camping in/around it: Marcy, Vince, Wayne, Breana, Brian, Elly, Justin, Dawn, Lisa, Doug.
This area can expand along venus as needed, as long as we keep the "driveway" clear and don't cross over into the neighboring villages territory. (see below).

A few notes:

We want to leave a small Driveway between venus and the Poetry Garden, which we will use for fitting in the cars arriving wed/thurs. It is VERY important to leave this open, and we'll stake and flag it off just in case the neighboring camps see it as available land. It is also important to allow a mid-way pedestrian egress - we want people cutting thought where they will see interesting things (e.g. the poetry garden).
